Davenport Villas
Only relatively a few years ago the main place to rent a villa near Disney was around the Kissimmee area. Whilst many new communities have continued to be developed the area of Davenport has developed substantially with many new Davenport villas communities and facilities now available. Some of the most well known communities are located either;-
a) Off the 192 such as Formosa Gardens
b) Around Championsgate / Reunion such as Lake Wilson Preserve
c) Off Highway 27 such as Tuscan Ridge or Calabay Parc
The shopping facilities and restaurants have improved tremendously over recent years in the Davenport area. Whilst there are numerous different eating places to choose from along the 192, many family restaurants can be found along the Highway 192. Many are also now available at different stages along the 192 between the junction with the 192 and the Interstat4. They include Cracker Barrell, Applebee’s, Denny’s etc to name but a few.
In addition the golf courses available within Championsgate and off Highway 27 provide everything whatever your standard.
A visit to Orlando would not be complete without some serious shopping. The new development of Posner Park at the junction of the Interstate 4 with Highway 27 provides something for all the family – Target, J.C. Penney, Belk, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Staples, Ross, Michael’s, PetSmart and Books-A-Million to name but a few.
The development of the shopping area which includes Walmart at the Northernend of Highway 27 just past the 192 provides opportunity to gain some excellent bargains.
