Calabay Park
Calabay Park is an immaculately maintained peaceful community of homes built approx 2003/2004. The community is built to a very high standard and many of the homes are let for short term rental. Calabay Park is surrounded by woodland and orange groves and is a great location to choose for your stay.
Calabay Park is located on Highway 27, seven minutes drive south to meet the junction of Interstate 4 or ten minutes drive north to the junction of Highway 192 with all its entertainment and restaurants. The drive is therefore very straight forward to the parks and other attractions Disney being 15-20 minutes and Seaworld, Universal area 30 minutes away. Quick and easy access can therefore be gained to the major road network providing access to the beaches near Tampa on the West Coast or the Atlantic coast beaches near Cocoa or Melbourne within 1.5 hours.
The amenities immediately surrounding Calabay Park continues to increase with a number of restaurants within a few minutes drive, Applebees, Italian, Chili’s, Cracker Barrel, Perkins, Bob Evans to name but a few all within 5 minutes drive.
There are a range of supermarkets available also all within 5 minutes, the closet being Publix approximately 5 minutes North on Highway 27 however another option would be the Publix at Championsgate together with the banks and other amenities located there.
If golf is what you are looking for during your stay at Calabay Parc, the world class courses at Championsgate designed by Greg Norman are within 5 minutes or try Southern Dunes near Haines City, Orange Lake or The Legends as an alternative.
There is another Calabay Park development “ Calabay Park at Tower Lake “ which is approx 15 minutes drive South on Highway 27. Take care when booking your Calabay Park villa that you are clear which community it is you have booked for as this can become confusing.
If shopping is what you are after the choice is huge, all on your doorstep the closest Walmart being 15 minutes drive away North on highway 27.
However the new arrival of Posner Park, the multi million dollar shopping area is a fantastic new addition to the area ideally located for you if you are staying at Calabay Park. Located on Highway 27 just north of the junction with the I4 (approximately 5 minutes drive away) there are an increasing number of shops available. These currently include JC Penney’s, Belk, Dicks, Target, Best Buy, Staples , Ross and a book store to name but a few.
More shopping opportunities can be found easily along the Interstate 4 including Orlando Mall, Mall at Millenia or a range of outlet shopping opportunities.
