Lake Berkley Resort is a well-established vacation villa community that is situated just minutes away from Disney, the attractions, and all of the shops and restaurants. This much sought after community is a development of executive 3, 4, 5 and 6 bedroom villas. The secure gated entrance to this tranquil community is hidden away from the main road. With local wildlife in and surrounding the stocked lakes it is the perfect location to unwind and relax. The lakeside walk leads to the outdoor volley ball beach, children’s play park and fishing pier where a covered pagoda, picnic tables and BBQ area are available for use. There are also tennis courts, basketball hoops and a communal swimming pool with kiddies splash pool and water toys in the Club house.

Disney is the closest major attraction to Lake Berkley. Within around 10-15 minutes you could be visiting either of the four main parks or two water parks, plus the numerous other Disney attractions.

Junction 71 of the I4 takes you to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica. A little further north on the I4 takes you to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

For an alternative to the theme parks, remember the Golf at Champions Gate and indeed the numerous other courses around the Orlando area.

A 2 minute drive takes you to the 192, with a vast array of restaurants. Too many to mention but includes, Cracker Barrel, TGI Fridays, Black Angus, Perkins, Ponderosa, Red Lobster, Outback, enough in fact for a different style of eatery every night of the week.

Take a trip north up Interstate I4 and within 30 minutes you would have the options of Orlando Premium Outlets, or Florida Mall.

Other places to go near Lake Berkley

For something different, visit Disney Celebration. This is not another Disney theme park but a purpose built residential community. With a selection of small shops, restaurants, a lovely lake to walk around and there is even a cinema which doubles up as a Church. It’s a nice quiet alterative on days when you want to go at a little slower pace or have a relaxing evening meal.

For a more adventurous day, easy access to Interstate I4 gives you the option of visiting Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay. Head in the other direction and you have the option of Kennedy Space Centre or Cocoa beach.
