The barrier islands that surround Tampa Bay offer great adventures for the family to see Anna Maria Island which is great for its shops, restaurants and the other islands each offer something new to explore. One of the best ways to see the area is with a kayak tour that takes you through the mangrove tunnels. More adventurous activities include windsurfing or kite boarding along with chartering a fishing boat for a half day or full day. There are also dolphin tours and many chances to catch up on your shopping.

Weather is Ideal in Bradenton
Located on the central Gulf Coast of Florida Bradenton enjoys warm weather year round although the summers tend to be hotter – in the 90s (32°C) – during July and August. Most of the rest of the year it is in the 70s (22 - 23°C).  This means that the Bradenton area is ideal for family holidays year round when you can enjoy your favorite activities like golfing or heading to the fabulous beaches.
